Terms and Conditions

These terms cover use of the Cakelle Atelier website and cake requests sent through it. Cakelle Atelier is operated as a sole proprietorship at 400 N Hogan St, Jacksonville, FL 32202. That address is the office and the pickup point by appointment. Phone: +1 (904) 643-4172. Email: [email protected]. When an order is confirmed in writing, that confirmation controls the order.

Custom orders

Cakelle Atelier makes cakes and cupcakes to order. The pages on this site describe the kinds of requests the bakery invites. They do not lock in a design, a flavor, a size, or a price.

A request is not an order

A form submission, an email, or a phone call is a request. An order exists only when Cakelle Atelier confirms the cake, the price, and pickup or delivery, and you accept that confirmation. Sending a request does not reserve a date. A success message on the form means the server mail function accepted the message. It does not mean the message reached the inbox, and it is not an order. The website has no shopping cart and does not take payment.

Price

The price is quoted for the cake you described. Servings, tiers, decoration, flavor, and pickup or delivery can change it. This website does not publish a menu of prices. The quote in the confirmation is the price for that order.

Payment, deposits, and refunds

This website does not process payment. It does not publish a deposit amount, a deposit deadline, or a refund rule, because no site-wide payment or refund policy has been set. Any payment method, deposit, or refund term applies only when it is written in the order confirmation.

Changes and cancellation

This page does not set a cancellation period. A request that was never confirmed can be dropped. After an order is confirmed, a change to the date, servings, design, or pickup or delivery needs the bakery’s agreement. A cancellation or refund term, if one is offered, will be in that confirmation rather than on this page.

Allergies and ingredients

Tell us about allergies and ingredients to avoid in the request, and again if anything changes. This website does not claim an allergen-free kitchen or a gluten-free certification. A cake is not promised free of an ingredient unless that limit is written into the confirmation. If that limit cannot be promised, the bakery may decline the order.

Pickup and delivery

Pickup and delivery happen only when the confirmation says so. Scheduled pickup is at the office address above. Opening hours are not published, and the address is not a walk-in counter. The primary service area is Jacksonville, Florida. A nearby location is considered only when Cakelle Atelier can actually make that trip. Choosing delivery and sending a ZIP code does not book the trip. This site does not list other cities or ZIP codes as a delivery zone. Same-day delivery and shipping by mail are not offered. A person should be available to receive a delivered cake. A delivery fee, if there is one, is part of the quote.

Design references you send

If you upload a photo or send wording, you confirm that you have the right to share it for planning your cake. Do not send a copyrighted character, a logo, or another bakery’s design and ask for a copy. Cakelle Atelier may refuse those requests. You keep your rights in material you created. You allow the bakery to use it to review the request and, if the order is confirmed, to make the cake. That permission does not include publishing your image as advertising.

Photographs on this website

Cake photographs on this site are style examples made for Cakelle Atelier. They are not records of a customer’s event. Please do not copy the site or present those photographs as your own product photos.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the form, try to break the site, or upload a file that is not an image of a cake idea. The server rejects submissions that fail the security checks described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

The site is a way to read about the bakery and to send a request. It can be unavailable during hosting maintenance. If the form shows an error, the request was not accepted. If you are not sure the message was handed to the mail function, call or email the bakery.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Cakelle Atelier is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from use of the website or from a request that was never confirmed. This page does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded. A confirmed cake is a perishable food order. Any storage note belongs in the confirmation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. A confirmed order may include a dispute term that the parties actually agree. If one sentence cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms still apply.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated page applies to requests sent after it is published. An order already confirmed keeps the terms in that confirmation.
